Martini Extra Dry Vermouth offers delicate perfumes of raspberry, peachy melon with subtle aromas of acacia honey. An essential ingredient for the Manhattan Cocktail and Martini, it is light, zesty and fragrant. Expect tasting notes of cinnamon apple and a white peach finish. 

The Martini Extra Dry Vermouth is made from a combination of rare woods, herbs, citrus and raspberry extracts. A pillar of the 20th century's defining drink, it is known for the iconic Dry Martini cocktail.

First introduced on New Year's Day in 1900, the Martini Extra Dry Vermouth was developed by Luigi Rossi's sons. At the heart of the Martini Extra Dry is a violet-scented tartness of Florentine Orris. These iris roots are grown for three years before being sun-dried.

On the nose, the Martini Extra Dry Vermouth offers delicate perfumes of raspberry, peachy melon with subtle aromas of acacia honey. An essential ingredient for the Manhattan Cocktail and Martini, it is light, zesty and fragrant. Expect tasting notes of cinnamon apple and a white peach finish. 

With its clear, pale gold appearance, expect an apple skin flavour that comes to the fore of the palate with a background of orris, slight touches of wood and a balanced acidity. Rootier notes emerge mid-palate but are not quite as dry as the “extra dry” might suggest.
